Parappanangadi English Medium School was established in 1997. It is run by the Educational Complex and Charity Center, Putharikkal, Parappanangadi . The school provides the modern system of Education in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by CBSE. At present classes from LKG to Xth standard are conducted.

This I.T.I has started functioning from 2009 onwards with affiliation of NCVT .Draughtsman civil (2years) and Mechanic Diesel (1year) are the trades. The minimum educational Qualification for both the course is SSLC.

Medical health checkup to students and their parents are conducted regularly Tooth, Eye and kidney evaluation camps to both students and parents are conducted every year.
It has a well equipped science lab and computer lab to cater to the needs of the students.
Vehicle facilities are available and school buses and vans ply every nook and corner of the parappanangadi Municipality and suburbs. Free ambulance service is also available in the school from 2015-2016 onwards.
The school has a wide collection of library books to promote the reading habits of the students.
